30 injured in fire at Hyderabad’s Park Hospital

HYDERABAD - Around 30 people were injured in a fire that broke out on the top floor of the Park Hospital here on Tuesday morning.

Fire engines and rescue operations were immediately rushed to the Park Hospital.

All patients were shifted to a nearby hospital. The injured include patients, nurses and other hospital staff menbers.

A fire officer said : “The flames had been brought under control. The priority was to ensure that all those inside the hospital were rescued.”

A police official said around eight patients were rescued from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

It is suspected that a short circuit might have led to the eruption of fire. (ANI)
