PATNA -Janata Dal Bihar Unit President Rajiv Ranjan Singh Lalan resigned from his post on Monday citing serious differences with State Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Singh’s resignation exposed the growing indifference among party leaders in the state.

Singh has accused Kumar of functioning like a dictator.

Singh’s resignation is expected to cause further trouble for the party in Bihar.

Interacting with the media after submitting his resignation to party’s national president Sharad Yadav, Singh said:”I won’t take back by resignation under any circumstances.”

“The CM is behaving like a dictator. He is underestimating other party members and ignoring them”, he added.

Singh complained that Kumar is not consulting him while talking decisions.

Kumar denied Singh’s allegations, saying “Such developments take place in political parties… everything will be settled.” (ANI)
