CHANDIGARH - Richard Hadlee, cricketing legend and brand ambassador for New Zealand, wooed Indian investors at a conclave here on Saturday.

Hadlee, the legendary fast bowler, who is donning a new cap as a brand ambassador for his country in India, inaugurated the New Zealand Invest 2010 Seminar in the city.

Looking at the potential trade and investment opportunities between the two countries, New Zealand’s Financial Solutions Ltd. and Catalyst2 have organised the two-day seminar.

The areas where the Kiwis want partnership with Indian businesses are dairy farming and packaging among others.

“New Zealand have lot of potential, we can do lot of business between India like food processing, dairy technology, apart from that packaging industry, dairy farming. Apart from this we can bring technology to India and we are talking to some Indian delegation as well, so they are going to come to New Zealand and do the business,” said Sanjeev Toora, an organiser.

Earlier this month the first ever series of investment seminars from New Zealand were held in New Delhi and Ludhiana. (ANI)
