Doc: Peterson’s 3rd wife wasn’t prone to falling

JOLIET, Ill. — A doctor for Drew Peterson’s third wife has testified that the woman wasn’t prone to falling.

Dr. Vinod Motiani testified Wednesday that he never treated Peterson’s former wife Kathleen Savio for dizziness or injuries sustained in a fall. But he later testified that his records included at least one notation that Savio had complained about dizziness and numbness.

Savio was found dead in a bathtub in 2004 and her death was initially ruled accidental. Her body was exhumed and her death ruled a homicide after the 2007 disappearance of Peterson’s fourth wife, Stacy Peterson.

Drew Peterson has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in Savio’s death and is considered the only suspect in Stacy Peterson’s disappearance. He has denied wrongdoing.
