US to provide 480 millions dollars to Pak under CSF in January

ISLAMABAD - The United States would be providing 480 million dollars to Pakistan in January under the Coalition Support Fund (CSF), Finance Minsiter Shaukat Tareen has said.
Tareen told reporters here that 350 million dollars would be released under the CSF and 130 million dollars under allocations for internally displaced persons (IDPs) this month.
Pakistan had received 44 million dollars from America under pledges made for IDPs in December, The Daily Times reported.
Meanwhile, the Obama administration has also finalised sectors for which 1.4 billion dollars would be provided, under the Kerry-Lugar bill, to Pakistan by September 2010.
According to sources, the White House would provide 155.2 million dollars for law-enforcement agencies, and another 298 million dollars as foreign military financing. About four million dollars would be given for military education and training. (ANI)
