Primary school in north west Pakistan blown up

PESHAWAR - A primary school in the village of Ashraf Kalay in the Khyber region of north-west Pakistan, was blown up on Monday morning.
Officials said the school was bombed at around 3 a.m.
The militant group Lashkar-e-Islam (Army of Islam) has reportedly claimed responsibility for the blast.
Islamist militants are opposed to co-education and have destroyed hundreds of schools, mostly for girls, in northwest Pakistan in recent years.(ANI)
