State trooper shot in Pa., condition unknown
CRANBERRY, Pa. — A state trooper has been shot in northwestern Pennsylvania.
The shooting happened in a heavily wooded area near Oil City, about 80 miles north of Pittsburgh. Authorities aren’t providing any other details.
The coroner’s office says that it has been contacted about the shooting, but isn’t saying anything else.
State police have blocked off the rural road where the shooting happened, and dozens of police cars have rushed to the area.
