Correction: Venezuela-US story
CARACAS, Venezuela — In a Dec. 31 story about Venezuela’s complaints about the U.S. military using airstrips on nearby Dutch islands, The Associated Press erroneously reported the date on which U.S. officials say a Navy plane accidentally strayed into Venezuelan airspace. The incident occurred in May 2008, not May 2009.
