Herley Industries receives contract worth up to $16 million from Composite Engineering

Herley Industries gets pact valued at up to $16M

LANCASTER, Pa. — Herley Industries Inc., which designs and makes microwave technology solutions for the defense, aerospace and medical industries, said Tuesday that it received a contract worth up to $16 million from Composite Engineering Inc. for avionics products.

Herley will be responsible for providing command and control transponders, identification-friend-or-foe transponders, power distribution assemblies, electro-explosive devices and integrated flight controllers.

Shares of Herley Industries added 14 cents to $13.68 in morning trading.
