Gunfight in Sopore, policeman killed

SOPORE - A policeman was killed in an ongoing encounter in north Kashmir’s Sopore area on Friday.

According to sources, an encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Chanakhan locality of Sopore town this morning and in the ensuing gunbattle one policeman was killed.

The gun battle was on when reports last came in. (ANI)
