London, May 24 (ANI): One in every 10 Brits would choose to part ways with their partners than quit watching TV, a new survey has found.

The poll of more than 3,000 people found that 11 percent of the people felt safer at home with the TV switched on.

Also, more than half of the people said that they could not live without television.

“Brits have always loved the TV and the wealth of entertainment it provides. Whether it’s for education, fun or shopping, TV has become a part of the family,” the Daily Express quoted QVC spokeswoman Sue Leeson, as saying.

The survey was conducted by shopping channel QVC ahead of the launch of a new ITV1 shopping and gaming service. (ANI)
