Brit girls won’t go topless on UK beaches

LONDON - Brit girls have no qualms about going topless on foreign holidays, but baring their boobs on home turf is a big no-no for them.

Over half of UK girls happily go topless on foreign holidays, but none quizzed in a survey would do the same on British beaches.

In fact, only one fifth of women strip down to their bikinis on UK beaches.

And the most common reason for refusing to go topless in Britain was the fear that they might be spotted by someone they know.

Almost a third of 1,000 girls polled said they only felt comfortable topless or in skimpy beachwear abroad as foreign men were more used to it.

Cardiff women were most likely to brave revealing cossies, followed by those in Bournemouth, Doncaster and London.

The biggest cover-up was in seaside resort Blackpool, famed for its wild hen nights.

Debenhams, who did the survey, said their store in the Lancs town sold the highest number of one-piece and cover-up “skirted” swimsuits.

“Judging by sales, British beaches will look like ’50s picture postcards this summer,” the Sun quoted the store’s Sasha Nagalingham as saying. (ANI)
