LONDON - A new documentary on French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s wife/singer Carla Bruni may soon release in twelve different countries.
The documentary titled ‘The Birth of a First Lady’, apparently shows “how becoming a first lady can change a woman’s life.”
The distributor of the film has revealed that distributors in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland have bought the rights to screen the movie.
Isabelle Graziadey of the Terranoa company, which is in charge of overall distribution, said negotiations are still on with companies in Italy, Spain, Australia, Britain, Greece, Portugal and the United States.
The 90-minute documentary, which will soon be aired in France, has been cut to 52 minutes for international viewers.
Bruni discusses the changes she had to bring about in her life, following the marriage with Sarkozy, reports the Telegraph.
The couple had married in February 2008.
Since then, Bruni has been busy doing philanthropic work, especially dealing with Aids in Africa, and making state visits.
However, she released her third album after her marriage to the president. (ANI)
