Cat reunited with owner - six years after vanishing!

LONDON - A woman in Scotland found her cat six years after she was lost.
Susan Skillen, 44, from Torrance, was overjoyed when a Scottish SPCA officer called to say they’d found Saffy, who had an ID microchip.
The pussy was living, eight miles away from home, half-starving on the streets of Drumchapel, Glasgow.
“I gave up all hope of ever seeing Saffy again years ago. She just wandered off one day and didn’t come back. But she remembered me straight away because as soon as I said her name she came running over to me. I think she’s really happy to be home,” the Sun quoted Skillen, who runs a pet grooming business, as saying.
Peter Fleming, manager of the Society’s rescue centre in Glasgow, said: “We are delighted to reunite Saffy with her owner. This just goes to show how important it is to get your pet icrochipped.” (ANI)
