Former boyfriend questioned over murder of Brit Muslim teen girl

LONDON - Detectives are questioning her ex-boyfriend of murdered Brit Muslim teenager Aliza Mirza, as also several members of his family. irza, an 18 year-old aspiring journalist, was stabbed in the neck and left to die in a pool of blood near her home in east London, reports The Telegraph.
Mirza, 18, was stabbed to death as she walked to a party on Saturday night. She was found collapsed with wounds in a street in Manor Park, East London.
Police arrested her 17-year-old ex-boyfriend and his 45-year-old father on suspicion of murder.
The former boyfriend’s mother, 41, and 20-year-old sister were also held on suspicion of assisting an offender, along with another man, aged 42.
Miss Mirza, an A-Level student, had left her home in Ilford on Saturday evening and met friends before heading to the party. Her body was found two hours later. A post mortem is being carried out but it is believed she had been stabbed in the neck. (ANI)
