Sexy girls calendar draws attention to dwindling French cheese sales

LONDON - French authorities have come up with a calendar featuring scantily clad women to draw attention to the country’s fast dipping cheese sales.
The Fromgirls Cheese Girls Calendar was said to be one of the attempts by the Association Fromages de Terroirs (AFT) to preserve France’s traditional cheese culture.
“The French have forgotten what real cheese is like. Buying cheese has become like buying a box of washing powder,” The Telegraph quoted Veronique Richez-Lerouge, of the AFT, as saying.
Jean-Claude Landry, whose family has run a cheese shop in Paris since the early 1900s, added: “Cheese is an important part of the French soul, but people now spend less time enjoying the real high quality versions.
“Too many young people want to spend five minutes eating, and even then they’d prefer something in an American-style plastic package with an advertising slogan on the front.” (ANI)
