LONDON - A cleric, dubbed as the “Bonking Bishop of Brentwood”, has lost his case for unfair dismissal after confessing affair with women connected to the church.

Bishop Michael Reid, of the Peniel Church in Brentwood, Essex, made his admission during a sermon.

The 66-year-old is said to have had affairs with three women, including his ex-personal assistant and choir mistress, The Daily Express reported.

Tribunal chairman Michael Haynes called the bishop “forceful” and “abrasive” as he refused the allegations saying his behaviour was utterly contrary to his church’s teachings. (ANI)
