Winston Churchill’s UFO investigation revealed

LONDON - Former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill had asked his senior aids to look into claims of UFO sightings as fears of an invasion by aliens were quite common at the time, it has emerged.
Churchill wanted to know if flying saucers seen all over the UK were actually alien spaceships.
“What does all this stuff about flying saucers amount to? What can it mean?” the Daily Express quoted Churchill, as asking Lord Cherwell, Secretary of State for Air, in a 1952 memo.
Thereafter, he was informed about a 1951 report by Sir Henry Tizard, a scientific adviser, which blamed the sightings on hoaxes, mistaken identity and natural phenomena.
“Nothing has happened since 1951 to make the air staff change their opinion,” aides concluded. (ANI)
