AUCKLAND - Auckland Police fear that the killer of Indian taxi driver Hiren Mohini could strike again.

Thirty-nine-year-old Mohini was repeatedly stabbed in a frenzied attack after an eight minute ride with a passenger from the central city to the Auckland suburb of Mt Eden on January 31.

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they are seeking in connection with his death, but so far nobody has come forward, reports the New Zealand Herald.

Detective Senior Sergeant Hywel Jones said: “He is a potential danger to anyone he comes in contact with.”

Jones said “whodunnit” murders could take years to solve, but his 40-strong team would work 24 hours a day to find the killer more quickly. (ANI)
