Sinclair becomes CEO of Western Gas Partners general partner, retains role of president

Western Gas Partners promotes Sinclair

HOUSTON — Western Gas Partners LP said Thursday that president of its general partner had been promoted to CEO.

Donald R. Sinclair LP will continue as president and succeeds Robert G. Gwin, who will continue in his role as chairman.

Sinclair became president of the organization in October. Before joining Western Gas, he was a founding partner and president of Ceritas Energy LLC.

Western Gas Partners, formed by Anadarko Petroleum Corp., gathers, processes and transports natural gas in Texas, the Rocky Mountains and the midcontinent for Anadarko and other producers.
