Prince Charles’ harpist smoked heroin in royal palaces

LONDON - Former Royal Harpist Jemima Phillips has revealed that she smuggled and smoked heroin into palaces before performing for the Royal Family.
The 28-year-old, who was the only musician to play at the wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla, said she was battling drug addiction throughout her three-year royal appointment.
The musician, from St Briavels in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, told how she was able to sneak heroin past Charles’s protection officers.
“A lot of the time when I was playing for the Royals I was detoxing, for example, when I played at Balmoral,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.
“But I always ended up going back. Small things - little disappointments and conversations - would have me reaching for the phone to call my dealer again. That’s what was so frightening,” she added.
Phillips, who is now clean, was ordered to attend a six-month drugs rehabilitation course and given a community order after she was arrested with boyfriend William Davies, 41, following a string of house burglaries in Gloucestershire in June this year. (ANI)
