DETROIT - A gunman walked into a police precinct in Detroit Sunday evening and shot four persons before being gunned down.
WXYZ-TV in Detroit said four people - one a commander and another a patrolman - were rushed to hospitals.
The Detroit News reported all four will live.
WXYZ-TV reported that the gunman walked into the 6th Precinct and fired down a hallway, hitting a female sergeant in the chest.
The sergeant, who was wearing a bulletproof vest, went down. The precinct commander grabbed her gun and fired at the gunman, who shot the commander down.
The gunman jumped over a counter and a number of cops opened fire, killing him before he could shoot more officers.
A camera inside the precinct captured graphic video of the rampage, the New York Daily News reports. (ANI)
