WASHINGTON - A controversial ambulance has fetched 120,000 dollars at Barrett Jackson auction after people questioned whether the ambulance ever carried the body of late U.S. President John F. Kennedy.
Despite the rumblings, the 1963 Bonneville ambulance hit the auction block, reports MyFOXPhoenix.com.
The original owner said he has no regrets, and the woman who bought it said the controversy did not bother her. She said she trusted the research done by Barrett Jackson.
The Paradise Valley woman, who is a car collector, was not sure what she would do with the vehicle, but she may ask the Smithsonian if it is interested in displaying it. (ANI)
