LAKKI MARWAT - At least two people were killed and two others injured, when a bomb blast took place outside the police lines in northwest Pakistan’s Lakki Marwat town on Friday.

The blast occurred when policemen fired shots at a terrorist who was planting a bomb outside the police lines in Lakki Marwat, a town about 110 miles south of Peshawar, The Express Tribune reports.

The terrorist and another man were killed in the blast, while two others suffered injuries and were shifted to Lakki Marwat hospital.

Police lines in Lakki Marwat have come under terrorist attacks in the past. In September, at least 19 people, including several policemen, were killed and several injured when a suicide bomber rammed his explosives-laden vehicle into a police station in the Lakki Marwat district. (ANI)
