NEW DELHI - Flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport remained normal for the second day today due to absence of dense fog.
According to Airport officials, though the airport witnessed fog at night and in the morning the runway visibility was good enough for smooth operations.
They said there were no cancellations or diversion of flights.
On Tuesday, most of the flights operated as per schedule though the visibility was low.
However, due to cascading effect of the past three days, about 60 flights were delayed while eight were cancelled. But unlike the previous three days, there were no flight diversions.
Low-visibility procedures had to be implemented thrice at the airport between Monday night and Tuesday evening with minimum visibility fluctuating throughout the day. (ANI)
