Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao to have a two-year term

NEW DELHI - The Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday informed that the ‘Appointment Committee of the Cabinet’ has approved the extension in service of Nirupama Rao as Foreign Secretary till July 31, 2011.
Nirupama Rao, a 1973 batch IFS officer, had assumed office on August 1, 2009. (ANI)
