NEW DELHI - The Pakistan High Commission Thursday denied the involvement of any of its officials with an alleged ISI spy caught in Mumbai last week.

“Some recent reports of involvement of an official of Pakistan High Commission in objectionable activities in India are baseless, mischievous and totally contrary to the facts,” said a statement issued by the High Commission here.

“The Pakistan High Commission rejects these reports in unequivocal terms,” it added.

On Dec 10, Mumbai police arrested a resident of south Mumbai, Javed Abdul Gafoor Mozawala, for allegedly spying on defence establishments.

Police officers contended that Mozawala was working on behalf of officials in the Pakistan High Commission.
