Oz MPs viewing teen porn at parliament will not be referred to police

MELBOURNE - It seems the MPs and staff in Australia who viewed pornography at parliament, will be getting off the hook after the Crown Solicitor recommended the matter not be referred to police.
Presiding officers issued a statement that the Crown Solicitor found there was “no legal obligation” to refer to police an Ernst and Young report which raised question marks over whether teen porn sites being accessed were child pornography.
Leading Speaker Richard Torbay and upper house president Amanda Fazio said they had received advice that there was “no legal obligation to refer the information in the report to the NSW Police Force”.
“The Parliament considers that this concludes the matter,” the Daily Telegraph quoted them as saying in a statement.
The Ernst and Young audit found that of the 72 most popular sites accessed on parliamentary computers over 10 months, 35 appeared to be adult-related. (ANI)
