Baby boy named after Zardari dies

QUETTA - A baby boy named after Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, has died of a severe chest infection in a government hospital. He was nine months.
According to The Nation, the boy was born in a motor rickshaw, which was denied passage to hospital due to strict security arrangements on the eve of one of the visits of President Asif Ali Zardari to Quetta.
Later, the news was flashed on almost all TV channels that attracted the attention of President Asif Ali Zardari who announced Rs.5 lakh for the family while the father of the newly born baby named him as Asif Ali Zardari.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani announced for free education for Asif.
Balochistan Home Minister Mir Zafarullah Zahri donated Rs. one lakh.
But after nine months, the infant died in a government hospital where he was recuperating for the last 10 days. (ANI)
