Temperature In Mumbai To Dip

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Mumbaikars who are desperately hoping for a few days of relief from the scorching sun are in for a huge treat as weather officials have predicted that cold shivers are all set to arrive in the city any moment. According to the weather office, the temperature in the city would be plummeting by 15 degrees in the upcoming few days which is likely to make sure that the city dwellers get a taste of the chilly weather even if it is for a very short span of time. The weather office has also revealed that the cold wave that has engulfed the northern part of the country would be making its presence felt in the region in the next few days.
While revealing details of the supposed drop in the temperature in Mumbai that is likely to take place, R.V. Sharma who is the deputy director general of the western region of the Indian Meteorological Department reiterated that the flow of the strong winds from the northern region of India is likely to result in the drop in the mercury in Mumbai. Despite the fact that the cold conditions prevails in the city not before the end of December, weather officials have predicted that this year, the cold shivers are likely to arrive earlier than usual.
Although in the morning Mumbaikars have to encounter the usual sunny days, at night temperature dips to a large extent bringing on a chilly weather along with the strong winds. Meanwhile, the weather officials have also revealed that for the upcoming days, partly clouds would be prevailing in the city.
