LAHORE - An Indian national arrested from northwest Pakistan a couple of days ago has been suspected of charting out a plan to target sensitive places in Pakistan during Muharram, local media reports.

The suspect- identified as Kolan Raaj- allegedly had maps of sensitive areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and some other northwestern areas in his possession, The Nation reports.

Kolan had been apprehended from Bannu, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, by security forces on early Thursday morning after he failed to produce travel documents.

The investigation team reportedly gathered certain clues suggesting his involvement in planning sectarian unrest during Muharram.

According to the report, a panel of special doctors had examined the suspected miscreant prior to the investigation, and declared him mentally fit. (ANI)
