NEW DELHI - Both Houses of Parliament on Friday paid tributes to the martyrs of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

Recalling the attacks, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar said the horrific memories of the tragic attack were still etched in the minds.

“It was sheer grit of determined Indians that enabled the nation to face the crisis and move ahead with resoluteness,” she added.

“On this day as a befitting tribute to the brave security personnel and people who laid down their lives, let us reiterate our resolve to unitedly fight terrorism in all its forms,” she said.

In the Rajya Sabha, Chairman, Mohammed Hamid Ansari called for rededication to protect the country’s sovereignty and integrity.

Condemning the 26/11 attack, Ansari said such incidents have firmed our resolve to fight terrorism.
