Mexican distiller unveils ‘world’s costliest’ tequila bottle worth 3.5mln dlrs

NEW YORK - A Mexican distillery has unveiled a tequila bottle worth 3.5 million dollars-apparently the most expensive in the world.
The tequila, from Hacienda La Capilla, comes in a bottle covered with 4,000 diamonds weighing a whopping 328 carats, reports the New York Post.
Nearly, 20 and 30 people reportedly took part in crafting the five-pound platinum layered bottle named ‘Diamond’s Law.’
Hacienda La Capilla also sold the bottle that holds the current Guinness world record for being the most expensive bottle of tequila for 225,000 dollars in 1996.
The diamond-encrusted bottle would be auctioned off to the highest bidder-a base bid will set hopefuls back a neat 3.5 million dollars. (ANI)
