Nitish Kumar to be sworn-in as Bihar CM today

PATNA - Nitish Kumar will be sworn-in as Bihar Chief Minister for the second term on Friday.
Kumar will be sworn-in as the chief minister with Sushil Kumar Modi as his deputy here at Gandhi Maidan at 2.30 p.m.
Governor Devanand Konwar would administer oath of office and secrecy to them.
Kumar was formally re-elected legislature party leader of National Democratic Alliance on Thursday evening.
Modi was elected unanimously the leader of the 91-member BJP Legislature Party at a separate meeting held in presence of senior party leaders, including Arun Jaitley, Ananth Kumar, Dharmendra Pradhan and state party chief C P Thakur.
According to the sources, Nitish Kumar will sworn-in as Chief Minister along with 35 ministers. 20 JD (U) ministers while 15 BJP ministers are expected to take oath.
The BJP-Janata Dal-United (JD-U)- combine led by Kumar has swept the Assembly elections in Bihar by winning more than three-fourth majority.
JDU - BJP combine has notched a spectacular tally of 206 seats in the 243-member House. JDU alone won 115 seats just 7 seats short of majority. BJP bagged 91 seats.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) alliance and Congress have fared badly. RJD was way behind getting only 22 and LJP got three. Congress won four seats and others eight. (ANI)
