India asks Pak to act against 26/11 perpetrators

NEW DELHI - Expressing regret over not receiving feedback on several issues raised by it, including the lack of progress in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks cases in Pakistan, India has issued a note verbale to Pakistan on the eve of the second anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, asking it to fulfill its ‘obligations and commitment’ to bring to justice the perpetrators responsible for the carnage.
In the letter, India has also pointed out the ‘lack of progress’ in the cases related to the trial of seven accused in Pakistan, who were arrested in connection with the Mumbai terror attacks.
New Delhi has expressed “regret” for not receiving feedback on several issues raised by it, including on the names of seven persons involved in the attacks given by Home Minister P Chidambaram during his meeting with his Pakistani counterpart in June in Islamabad,” the NDTV channels quotes government sources, as saying.
