Injured 12-foot long python retrieved in Purulia

PURULIA - A 12 foot-long python has been retrieved from Barundih village in West Bengal’s Purulia District.

Villagers discovered the injured python and informed forest offcials officials about it.

“We all were awake for the whole night and guarded the snake. In the morning, we handed the snake over to the forest officials,” said Timir Mahato, a villager.

After medical treatment, the python has been released into the forest. By Amjad Kazi (ANI)
