WASHINGTON - Former US President, George W. Bush’s new book, ‘Decision Points’, seems to have become a big hit.
According to sources, Crown Publishers, an imprint of Random House, has said it sold more than 775,000 copies in just the first week of publication, and racked up an additional 100,000 e-book sales.
With sales through the roof, the publisher has ordered up more books, upping the total from 1.5 million copies to 1.85 million copies, reports the Politico.
More than 220,000 copies of the memoir were sold on the first day alone, the publisher said, adding that its sales were highest since former President Bill Clinton’s book “My Life” hit shelves in 2004. Still, Clinton’s book sold more than 900,000 copies in its first week. (ANI)
