Oz girl gang’s sick filming of ‘tag team’ fights

MELBOURNE - A group of Aussie teenage girls have been found filming unprovoked ‘tag team’ attacks on fellow students and circulating the footage via mobile phones.

According to the Sunday Times, the video footage of 13 and 14-year-old girls from John Willcock College, in Geraldton, has been obtained in which they carried out planned attacks on other female students after school.

Parents said the disturbing footage was being circulated throughout the school via bluetooth on mobile phones.

The footage showed two girls walking up behind another female student before grabbing her hair, slinging her to the ground and repeatedly punching her head.

The second video showed up to three girls kicking and pulling the hair of another girl after she was flung to the ground.

“There is a fair bit of tension in the school among the girls,” News.com.au quoted one parent, as saying.

“The videos are spreading through the school like wildfire with bluetooth.

“They’re between the ages of 13 and 14 and there is a group of about 10 of them they plan it so that it can all be filmed on their phones and then they go and do it. But there are about four or five who actually hit them. They do it like a tag team,” said parent.

John Willcock College principal Julie Campbell said she was “shocked” by the incidents involving a “small group of students” in recent weeks.

Campbell said the video footage of the attacks would be handed over to police as evidence and another student would be suspended as a result.

“In each case the instigators have been suspended for the maximum 10-day period. Where there is evidence of a potential assault, police have also been involved,” she said.

“Any students found to have recorded, uploaded or sent the footage to other students would be suspended in accordance with the director-general’s policy,” said Campbell. (ANI)
