Oz burglar claims ‘drug-induced stupor’ made him send pics of penis

MELBOURNE - A serial burglar in Australia has claimed that he was in a “drug-induced stupor” when he sent photos of his penis to contacts on mobile phones he had stolen.
Shane Anthony Willis, 33, who has been jailed for a minimum 4-and-a-half years for a string of burglaries in Melbourne and Victoria between January and April this year, had sent the pictures on four occasions.
He took pictures of his penis with stolen mobile phones and then sent the images to people on the phones’ contact lists, and among those who received the images was a 13-year-old girl.
Willis told the court that he had been using heroin, amphetamines and methamphetamines at the time, and he has described his actions as stupid.
Judge Jane Patrick said the antics were disgusting and offensive.
“You clearly did not care whether they’d be received by children or elderly people,” News.com.au quoted her as saying.
Willis, of Fitzroy North, pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including nine counts of aggravated burglary, 31 counts of theft, five of burglary and six of using a carriage service to menace, harass, or offend.
He must serve a minimum term of four years and five months before being eligible for parole. (ANI)
