Martha Stewart’s secret to slaughtering fowl - get them drunk first

SYDNEY - Business magnate Martha Stewart has revealed the secret to slaughtering her own fowl - getting the animal drunk first.
Stewart, 69, a cookbook author, said on US talk show the Colbert Report that she gave live birds miniature bottles of alcohol before killing them with her bare hands.
“I give them, you know those little cognac and bourbon bottles that you get on airplanes? Well before the bird is slaughtered you [give them] that. You just pour it down,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as saying.
Stewart also revealed that she planned to kill six turkeys for her own Thanksgiving dinner this month. (ANI)
