CHARSADDA - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Minister Sardar Hussain Babak has termed two Pakistani political parties- Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI)- ‘political wings of terrorists’.
Addressing a convention of state-run schoolteachers, Babak said that if militants would destroy one school, the government would build ten more to promote education, The News reported.
“Despite the opposition of the whole world, our government enforced the Nizam-e-Adl in the Malakand division. The policy of non-violence, to which the Awami National Party (ANP) believes while dealing with militancy generally in the province and particularly in Malakand region, was taken for granted by the forces of violence,” he stated.
The minister said that the ANP was the only political party that lost over 450 workers at the hands of militants in the ongoing war on terror.
These political workers laid down their lives for the cause of the Pakhtun nation, he said, adding that the ANP would not budge from its stand against the forces of darkness. (ANI)
