Michelle a better dancer now: Obama

NEW DELHI - Michelle Obama has turned into a “better dancer”, thanks to her India visit, US President Barack Obama jovially said during the state banquet hosted by President Pratibha Patil Monday night.

“She has turned into a better dancer,” Obama said during the banquet at the Rashtrapati Bhawan here.

Speaking after Patil, Obama also said that India is doing well because it has many “strong” women leaders.

“On behalf of Michelle and I, we just want to thank you for this extraordinary expression of friendship between our two nations,” he added.

Michelle had joined Indian children for some bhangra and a Koli folk dance. She was quick to catch up on the steps and danced spiritedly, bowling over Indians.
