Georgina Bloomberg Tumbled Off Her Horse

The officials reported that Georgina Bloomberg was riding in the costume of a witch during the Gamblers Choice in Costume competition. All of a sudden her saddle got lose and she slipped off, to get banged with the turf, as the horse jumped. Georgina Bloomberg, who is a professional show jumper herself, got unconscious after the fall and suffered a concussion. However, after the accident, she could get back to consciousness, and was able to walk off the Oncenter War Memorial Arena with her own power. She reportedly did not go to the hospital until the next morning, when she faced a severe dose of back pain. Later on it was diagnosed with a fracture in her spine. Her publicist Kenneth Kraus said that Georgina Bloomberg will undergo a detailed and in-depth medical examination on Monday, after the medical reports are revealed. Kenneth Kraus also said that in spite of her injury, she is able to rest comfortably. During her accident, Mayor Michael Bloomberg was in the New York itself for the marathon. Michael Bloomberg has been quite open about his daughter and showed his pride for Georgina Bloomberg, who has been quite successful in in competitive equestrian events. However, he has also talked about the dangers involved in this sports and has always hoped that she “stays safe.”
