57-yr-old Indian-origin woman gives birth to twins Down Under!

MELBOURNE - An Australian woman aged 57 has given birth to twins after using IVF.

This makes the woman the oldest mother to give birth in Australia.

According to the Herald Sun, the woman gave birth by caesarean section on Monday at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth.

Sources said the woman, who is believed to be from India, had IVF treatment with donated eggs in India before delivering twins in Perth this week.

It is believed that she spent the duration of her pregnancy in WA and was accompanied by a man, believed to be her husband. (ANI)
