Sydney women are high maintenance, more sophisticated

MELBOURNE - A survey on Australian women has found that Sydney women tend to be more urbane and sophisticated, and are high maintenance and superficial.
Social researcher Mark McCrindle said Sydney women also have more money and are more competitive than other Australian women.
“In the regional areas they have a broader view of beauty, they’re more likely to say that beauty is skin deep,” News.com.au quoted him as saying.
When it comes to getting ready, Sydney women also take longer, spending about 25 minutes a day beautifying themselves - the equivalent to a year of an average woman’s life.
McCrindle said Sydney women also tended to start families later in life and spent more on going out and entertaining.
But when it comes to keeping up appearances, more than 60 percent of Sydney women claimed their key motivation for looking good was their partner.
The survey of more than 1800 women conducted by Nutrimetics found women spend about 78 dollars on beauty each month in New South Wales, which is almost 10 dollars more than the national average
In contrast, Victorian women spend on average 67.87 dollars a month, while Queenslanders spend 64.58 dollars, and South Australian women spent the least 49.96 dollars. (ANI)
