Sarah Palin says Bristol will ‘kick her butt’ in ratings face-off

NEW YORK - Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin Sarah Palin will face off against daughter Bristol for ratings next week.
Palin will go head-to-head with Bristol next week for ratings, as Sarah joins Fox News to cover the midterm elections while Bristol continues to cling to her contestant status on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”
“She’ll kick my butt,” the New York Daily News quoted Sarah as telling Entertainment Tonight on asking who’ll be on the top.
The Ex-Alaska Gov. will get another shot at the ratings game next month, when she debuts her new reality show, ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’ on the Discovery Channel’s sister network, TLC.
The move to TV has at least one key Republican doubting her ability as a serious politician.
“There are high standards that the American people have for it [the presidency] and they require a certain level of gravitas. With all due candor, appearing on your own reality show on the Discovery Channel, I am not certain how that fits in the American calculus of ‘that helps me see you in the Oval Office,” former Bush adviser Karl Rove told London’s Daily Telegraph.
However, Palin believes she is more than willing to run for President in 2012 - though she seems to see her candidacy as a public service.
“If there’s nobody else to do it, then of course I would believe that we should do this,” she said. (ANI)
