WASHINGTON - A Florida teenager, well known as the ‘hiccup girl’, has apparently been arrested and charged with murder.

MyFoxTampaBay.com reports that authorities arrested Jennifer Mee, 19, of St. Petersburg, Fla and two others in the shooting death of 22-year-old Shannon Griffin.

Police said Mee lured the victim to an area of St. Petersburg, where two men, Laron Raiford, 20, and Lamont Newton, 22, tried to rob him, reports Fox News.

After Griffin struggled with the suspects, he was shot multiple times, investigators say.

Sgt. T. A. Skinner of the St. Petersburg Police Department told that Mee and the others admitted their involvement. All three adults have been charged with first-degree murder.

Mee was being held without bond early Monday. Pinellas County jail records did not show whether she has an attorney.(ANI)
