NEW YORK - A new study has rated the ‘Olde English 800′ as the worst beer ever.
A research conducted by Ratebeer.com showed that thousands of beer fans voted for ‘Olde English 800′ as the nastiest tasting brew.
Critics from all over the world seemed to take pleasure in denigrating the Miller-Coors product as ‘disgusting’, ‘horrible’ and ‘unfit for bums or college students.’ Others likened the taste to urine and the smell to dog feces.
“If I hated someone I would give them this beer,” the New York Daily News quoted a reviewer as saying.
Reviewers could not even praise the product’s signature high alcohol content.
“Drink only when you are in desperate need of getting drunk and you can’t find mouthwash,” said another respondent.
For those who scoff that malt liquors just can’t be compared with beer, Natural Light, Milawaukee’s Best and Michelob Ultra, all pale lagers, rounded out the top five of this ‘Don’t Drink’ list.
“We provide this list in the name of beer education. We aren’t picking on the fat kid as much as we’re making a few big brewers accountable for their products that are more about beer hype and marketing than substance,” the site mentioned. (ANI)
