WASHINGTON - Former Pakistan President Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari is no more.
Leghari, who had been a cardiac patient, died at the age of 70 on early hours today, the Dawn reported.
He was elected the eighth President of Pakistan in 1993. During his term, Leghari dismissed Benazir Bhutto’s government on allegations of corruption, lawlessness and extra-judicial-killings by using Article 58-2B of the Constitution on November 19, 1996.
