Normalcy prevails in Kashmir valley, one injured in Baramulla

Srinagar, Oct. 19: Situation remained by and large normal and under control across the Kashmir Valley on Tuesday, except for a stone pelting incident in which a person was injured during police action.

Some miscreants defying the curfew restrictions at Cement Bridge Baramulla attempted to disrupt peace, as they resorted to heavy stone pelting, said a police release.

One miscreant identified as Mohammad Yousuf Channa son of Mohammad Ismail resident of Armpora, Bagh-i-Islam Baramulla, suffered injury in the police action to control the unruly mob.

He was later shifted to Srinagar where his condition was stated to be stable till last reports were received. (ANI)
